Local 723 Vibrant union locals and progressive social movements just don’t happen; they are planned for and worked on by people like you – members who care about the future and status of the U.A.W., members who care about the kind of future we want for all working families, members who are willing to go the extra mile for the U.A.W. One way members can accomplish this task is, by members serving on a Standing Committee for Local 723. What is a Standing Committee and it function you ask? Local Union standing committees are the tools through which polices and programs aimed at strengthen our union is put to work. These committees support UAW members by implementing activities that further the social, economic and political goals of the U.A.W. Local Union Standing Committees are made up of these special kinds of individuals. The following is a list of the Standing Committees of U.A.W. Local 723.
